shutout

Scoreless for one

A shutout is a game in which one side fails to score—the losing team is "shut out" of the scoring.

Most common in baseball and hockey: The pitcher threw a complete-game shutout.

The term extends to any situation where someone is completely excluded or denied: a shutout from the negotiations.
