send back
Ship in reverse
To send back is to return something to its origin or previous location.
You send back a defective product, send back a meal that's undercooked, or send back a letter marked "return to sender." The phrase often implies rejection or dissatisfaction: I had to send back the dress because it didn't fit.
In immigration contexts, to send back means to deport.
