select button
Confirms your pick
The select button is a control on video game controllers, typically paired with a start button.
Its function varies by game—often opening menus, switching modes, or accessing secondary options.
On classic Nintendo controllers, select chose between game modes on title screens.
Modern controllers have largely replaced it with differently named buttons serving similar purposes.
