rink rat

Ice arena devotee

A rink rat is someone who spends excessive time at an ice rink or roller rink—typically a young hockey player who hangs around before and after practice, eager for extra ice time.

The term is usually affectionate rather than critical: He was a rink rat who'd skate until they kicked him out.

Sometimes extended to anyone obsessively devoted to rink sports.
