Replacing roof tiles
Reshingling is the process of replacing the shingles on a roof.
The prefix re- indicates doing it again—the roof had shingles before, and now they're being replaced with new ones: The contractor quoted us twelve thousand for reshingling the house.
The term applies to both the work in progress and the completed job.
