touch-up
Small cosmetic repair
A touch-up is a minor repair or improvement to restore appearance—fixing paint chips, concealing gray roots, or refreshing makeup: She did a quick touch-up before the meeting.
The verb touch up means to make such corrections: He touched up the scratches on the car.
Touch-ups address small flaws rather than major overhauls.
