resegregated

Split apart anew

Resegregated describes something that has become segregated again after a period of integration.

The term appears most often in discussions of American schools and neighborhoods that, after desegregation efforts in the mid-20th century, returned to racial separation through demographic shifts, policy changes, or housing patterns: Many urban schools have effectively resegregated since the 1990s.
