remesh
Rebuild the mesh
To remesh is to generate a new mesh structure for a 3D model, typically to improve polygon distribution, reduce complexity, or fix topology problems.
Common in 3D modeling, game development, and 3D printing: I had to remesh the scan to make it printable.
Automatic remeshing tools can transform chaotic geometry into clean, evenly spaced polygons.
