reflexive pronoun
Self-referential grammar word
A reflexive pronoun refers back to the subject of a sentence: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
It appears when subject and object are the same: She hurt herself, I taught myself to code.
Reflexive pronouns also add emphasis: I'll do it myself.
