subject pronoun

"I" or "she"

A subject pronoun is one that functions as the subject of a sentence or clause: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.

These are the forms used when the pronoun performs the action: She called him, not Her called him.

In casual speech, object pronouns often substitute: Me and him went to the store.
