relative pronoun
Who or which
A relative pronoun introduces a clause that modifies a noun.
In English, the main relative pronouns are *who*, *whom*, *whose*, *which*, and *that*: The woman who called left a message, The book that I borrowed was excellent.
The choice between *who* and *whom* follows the same rules as *he* versus *him*, though *whom* is fading in casual speech. *Which* typically refers to things, *who* to people, and *that* to either.
