reduced-fat milk

Skimmed-down beverage

Reduced-fat milk is milk with some of its fat content removed, typically containing 2% milkfat compared to whole milk's 3.25%.

The term appears on dairy labels to distinguish it from skim milk (which has nearly all fat removed) and whole milk: I switched to reduced-fat milk for the calories but couldn't give up the creaminess entirely.
