radler

Cyclist's refreshing drink

A radler is a beer mixed with citrus soda or lemonade, typically half and half, producing a light, refreshing drink with lower alcohol content than straight beer.

The mixture originated in German-speaking countries and takes its name from the German word for cyclist—supposedly invented for thirsty bikers who needed to ride home.

I'll have a radler—I'm driving.
