Checkered finish marker
A racing flag is any of the colored flags used to communicate with drivers during motorsport events.
The green flag starts the race, yellow signals caution, and the checkered flag marks the finish.
Other flags indicate conditions or penalties: black for disqualification, white for final lap, red for stopping the race.
