Quickload is a video game feature that instantly restores a previously saved game state, typically bound to a single keystroke.
It pairs with quicksave—together they let players retry difficult sections without navigating menus: I quickloaded after dying to the boss for the tenth time.
The term extends to any rapid restoration of a prior state.
