question time
Ministers face inquiries
Question time is a scheduled period in a parliament or legislature when government ministers answer questions from other members.
The practice originated in the British House of Commons, where the Prime Minister faces questions weekly.
In classrooms or meetings, question time is simply a designated period for asking questions: We'll have question time at the end of the presentation.
