precognitive

Knowing before happening

Precognitive describes knowledge or awareness of future events before they happen, especially through extrasensory means: precognitive dreams, precognitive abilities.

The term appears in parapsychology and science fiction, where characters perceive what hasn't yet occurred.

More loosely, it can describe any seemingly prophetic intuition: She had a precognitive sense that something was wrong.
