poultryman
Raises birds commercially
A poultryman is someone who raises domestic fowl—chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese—typically for commercial purposes.
The term covers both farmers who breed and raise the birds and workers who tend them: The poultryman checked the henhouse each morning before dawn.
Less common now than poultry farmer or poultry worker.
