posterior chamber
Behind the iris
The posterior chamber is the fluid-filled space in the eye between the iris and the lens.
Despite its name, it sits in the front portion of the eye—posterior only relative to the anterior chamber, which lies in front of the iris.
Aqueous humor flows from the posterior chamber through the pupil into the anterior chamber.
