pony keg
Small beer container
A pony keg is a small beer keg holding about 7.75 gallons—roughly half the size of a standard keg.
The name comes from pony's general sense of something smaller than usual.
Pony kegs are popular for smaller gatherings where a full keg would be excessive: We got a pony keg for the barbecue.
