pony express
Relay rider delivery
The Pony Express was an American mail delivery service operating briefly in 1860–61, using relays of riders on horseback to carry messages between Missouri and California before the telegraph made it obsolete.
The name now evokes romantic notions of the Old West and appears in references to fast delivery: I'll send it pony express.
