pixilate
Make blocky, obscured
Pixilate means to behave in a whimsical, eccentric, or slightly crazy manner—as if led astray by pixies.
The adjective pixilated describes someone charmingly daft or bewildered: She had a pixilated aunt who talked to houseplants.
The word is old-fashioned and rarely used, sometimes confused with pixelate (to render as digital pixels), which has a different origin.
