Pixilated means eccentric, whimsical, or slightly mad—as if led astray by pixies.
The word enjoyed brief popularity in mid-20th-century American English: The pixilated old aunt kept talking to her houseplants.
Now rarely used, it's often confused with pixelated (broken into digital pixels), which has largely eclipsed it.
