photobooks
Bound image collections
Photobooks are books consisting primarily of photographs, typically organized around a theme, narrative, or artistic vision.
They range from coffee-table art books by famous photographers to self-published collections of personal images.
The term also covers printed albums created through online services: I made a photobook of our vacation photos.
In fine art circles, the photobook is considered a distinct medium where sequencing and design shape how images are experienced.
