peacemongering
Pushing for reconciliation
Peacemongering is the vigorous advocacy of peace, formed by ironic analogy to warmonger.
The term can be used earnestly to describe persistent diplomatic efforts to end conflict, but more often carries a dismissive or sarcastic edge—implying that pursuing peace is naive, excessive, or somehow as aggressive as warmongering: The senator accused the administration of peacemongering instead of standing firm.
