warmongering
Pushing for conflict
Warmongering is the act of encouraging or advocating for war, especially through inflammatory rhetoric or fearmongering about foreign threats.
A warmonger stirs up hostility and pushes for military action: Critics accused the senator of warmongering.
The term is almost always pejorative, implying that someone profits from or desires conflict rather than pursuing legitimate defense.
