Free community 5K

Parkrun is a free, timed 5-kilometer run held in public parks on Saturday mornings, organized by volunteers and open to all fitness levels.

Participants register once and receive a barcode to track their times.

The events originated in the UK in 2004 and have spread worldwide: I do parkrun every weekend.

The name is styled as one lowercase word.
