normal range
Standard acceptable limits
Normal range refers to the span of values considered typical or healthy for a given measurement, especially in medicine: Your cholesterol is within the normal range.
Lab results outside the normal range may indicate a problem worth investigating.
The boundaries are statistical—typically covering 95% of a healthy population—so falling slightly outside doesn't automatically signal disease.
