nob
Posh British person
Nob is British slang for a person of high social standing or wealth—someone posh or upper-class: The nobs in their country estates don't understand working people.
The word carries a mildly mocking tone, used by those outside the privileged class looking in.
Separately, nob is slang for head, and in cribbage, a jack of the same suit as the starter card scores "one for his nob."
