montages
Spliced film passages
Montages are composite images or sequences made by combining separate elements.
In film, a montage assembles shots to compress time or convey ideas through juxtaposition: The training montage showed months of preparation in two minutes.
In visual art, a montage combines photographs or other images into a single composition.
The technique emphasizes arrangement and contrast over seamless blending.
