tribute videos
Honoring someone visually
Tribute videos are fan-made video compilations honoring a person, character, or subject—typically set to music and assembled from clips, photos, or footage.
They celebrate celebrities, fictional characters, deceased loved ones, or memorable moments: She made a tribute video for her grandfather's funeral, The YouTube tribute video used scenes from all six films.
In a separate, vulgar sense, tribute videos show men ejaculating onto images of specific women, usually celebrities or acquaintances—a form of sexual objectification shared online.
