blooper reels
Actors flubbing lines
Blooper reels are compilations of mistakes, flubs, and outtakes from film or television productions—actors flubbing lines, sets collapsing, uncontrollable laughter.
Originally shown at wrap parties, they became popular as DVD extras and online content.
The appeal lies in seeing polished performers caught being human: The blooper reel was funnier than the movie itself.
