highlight reels
Best plays montage
Highlight reels are compilations of the best moments from a longer performance—originally from sports broadcasts showing spectacular plays, now extended to any curated collection of peak moments.
The term often appears figuratively for selective memory or self-presentation: Social media is just everyone's highlight reel.
The implication is that highlight reels omit failures, struggles, and ordinary stretches.
