mixologist
Cocktail bar expert
A mixologist is a bartender, especially one who approaches cocktail-making as a craft.
The term emerged in upscale bar culture to distinguish artisanal drink preparation from simple beer-and-shot service: The mixologist created a custom cocktail using house-made bitters.
Some find the word pretentious—it's bartender with a premium markup.
