ministrokes

Temporary brain blockages

Ministrokes are transient ischemic attacks (TIAs)—brief episodes where blood flow to the brain is temporarily blocked.

Symptoms mirror those of a full stroke (numbness, confusion, vision problems) but typically resolve within minutes to hours without permanent damage.

Despite the diminutive name, ministrokes are serious warning signs: She had two ministrokes before the major one.
