millboard
Heavy bookbinding material
Millboard is a thick, stiff cardboard made from compressed paper pulp, used in bookbinding for covers and in various industrial applications requiring rigid backing material.
It's denser and stronger than ordinary cardboard: The bookbinder cut millboard for the hardcover case.
