mesomorphic
Naturally muscular physique
Mesomorphic describes a body type characterized by a naturally muscular, athletic build with broad shoulders, narrow waist, and relatively low body fat.
The term comes from somatotype theory, which classifies human physiques into three categories: ectomorphic (thin), mesomorphic (muscular), and endomorphic (heavy).
Someone with a mesomorphic build tends to gain muscle easily and respond well to strength training.
He has a mesomorphic frame that makes him well-suited for football.
