meditating
Sitting in stillness
Meditating is engaging in meditation—a practice of focused attention or contemplation, often to achieve mental clarity, relaxation, or spiritual insight.
Someone meditating might sit quietly with eyes closed, breathing deliberately: Don't disturb her, she's meditating.
The word also applies to deep reflection on any subject: He sat meditating on his next move.
