meadery
Fermented honey establishment
A meadery is a place where mead is made—the equivalent of a brewery for beer or a winery for wine.
Mead is an alcoholic beverage fermented from honey and water.
As craft brewing has expanded, meaderies have become more common: We visited a local meadery and sampled their honey wine.
