brewpub

On-site fermentation eatery

A brewpub is a restaurant or bar that brews its own beer on the premises.

Unlike a standalone brewery, a brewpub serves food alongside its house-made beers, combining dining with craft brewing: We tried the seasonal IPA at the new brewpub downtown.

The term emerged with the American craft beer movement of the 1980s.
