masker
One wearing disguise
A masker is someone who wears a mask.
The term appears in descriptions of costumed events—masquerades, Halloween, Mardi Gras—where participants conceal their identities: The maskers paraded through the French Quarter.
Since 2020, masker also refers to someone who wears a face covering for health reasons, often in debates about public health measures.
