man down

Someone has collapsed

Man down is a call indicating someone has fallen or been incapacitated, originally military jargon for a soldier wounded or killed in action: Man down! We need a medic!

The phrase extends to any situation where a team member is suddenly unavailable: We're man down for tonight's game—Jake's got the flu.

It can also function as an exclamation when someone collapses or fails spectacularly.
