magnifiable

Able to enlarge

Magnifiable describes something capable of being magnified—made to appear larger or more significant.

The word applies literally to objects that can be enlarged through optical devices: The specimen is magnifiable under a standard microscope.

It extends to anything that can be amplified or intensified: problems magnifiable by neglect, achievements magnifiable through publicity.
