magnetic force
Iron's invisible tug
Magnetic force is the push or pull that magnets exert on each other or on certain metals.
It's what makes a compass needle swing toward north, holds refrigerator magnets in place, and powers electric motors.
Unlike gravity, magnetic force can attract or repel depending on pole orientation: The magnetic force between the two magnets was strong enough to pinch skin.
