nonmagnetic
Won't stick magnetically
Nonmagnetic describes materials that are not attracted to magnets and cannot be magnetized.
Aluminum, copper, brass, and most plastics are nonmagnetic.
The term matters in contexts where magnetic interference must be avoided: nonmagnetic surgical instruments, nonmagnetic watch components.
Some stainless steels are nonmagnetic, others aren't.
