lowboys
Squat antique furniture
Lowboys are low-set dressers or chests of drawers, typically with cabriole legs, originating in 18th-century furniture design.
The term also refers to flatbed trailers or semi-trailers with a dropped deck, sitting low to the ground for hauling tall or heavy equipment: They loaded the excavator onto a lowboy for transport.
