left-click
Primary pointer action
Left-click is to press the left button on a computer mouse, typically to select items, activate links, or confirm actions.
It's the default click—when instructions say simply "click," they mean left-click.
The term also functions as a noun: a single left-click opens the file.
Contrast with right-click, which usually opens context menus.
