learning pod
Small learning group
A learning pod is a small group of children who study together outside traditional school settings, typically organized by parents and often guided by a tutor or rotating adult supervision.
The arrangement gained popularity during pandemic-related school closures: We formed a learning pod with three other families.
Pods offer more individualized attention than classrooms while providing social interaction that solitary homeschooling lacks.
