lasering
Precision light cutting
Lasering is using a laser to cut, engrave, remove, or treat something.
The term appears in manufacturing lasering intricate patterns into metal, cosmetic procedures lasering off a tattoo, and casual contexts I spent the afternoon lasering designs onto wood.
Figuratively, lasering can describe intense visual focus: She was lasering him with her eyes.
