laserbeam
Focused light stream
A laserbeam is a concentrated beam of coherent light produced by a laser—intense, narrow, and traveling in a straight line with minimal diffusion.
The term appears in science fiction, technical contexts, and figuratively for anything precisely focused: Her laserbeam focus on the project impressed everyone.
Usually spelled as two words (laser beam) in technical writing.
